ISIS trains children suicide bombers to attack Narendra Modi on R-Day, intelligence beefs up security
National capital turns into a fortress as Union Home Ministry do not want to take any chance.
New Delhi, January 24: With two days remaining for the grand celebration of 67th Republic Day and continuous arrests of Islamic State (ISIS) suspects form different parts of the country, a new alert has been issued in which children suicide bombers could be used to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Francois Hollande, who is arriving in India on Sunday.
Last month only, ISIS have released a video in which they have shown how they are training children jihadists and suicide bombers for terrorists attacks. Now, with the latest threat being issued by the intelligence, the Union Ministry is taking no chance in tightening the security for the world leaders, appearing to participate in the Republic Day parade. Co-incidentally, this would be the first time that the French Army will also take part in the parade.
Since Friday, the Anti-Terrorist Squads of state police, National Investigation Agency and Security forces are on a hunt for the suspected ISIS sympathizers. Till now 23 suspects have been detained and further investigation is going on. The security forces are even planning to seal the international border until the Republic Day is over. Its is also to be known that that the national capital has become a fortress and not even a ‘bird’ (Aeroplane) is allowed to fly in that zone leading to Rajpath. Well it will be interesting to see how the security forces and police destroy the motives of ISIS, considering their strong network of sleeper cells.
