Indian Air Force Launches Campaign for First Women Fighter Pilot Batch
With an aim to break gender stereotype, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has rolled out a campaign featuring India’s first batch of women fighter pilots. The campaign aims to shatter the stereotypes around what work women could or could not do.
The over one minute video proudly boasts the achievement of its first women fighter pilots, and also sparks a conversation around the preconceived notions that many in society have about the role and place of a woman.
The Indian Air Force, which is known to overcome barriers with courage, strength and valour, has launched the campaign at a time when the whole country is debating the role of women in society.
