Here's How the Indian Army Trains Counter-Strike Style

In this special Defence Tech feature, we tell you about the Infantry Weapons Training Simulator that's used by the Indian Armed forces. It's a weapons training simulator that helps in increasing the accuracy of officers in the Army. It uses lasers and cameras on a modified assault rifle for officers to train in target practice.

The simulator also helps in giving out data points to officers to improve their grouping and accuracy. There is also a scenario builder on the simulator through which the instructors can build scenarios for officers to train on. This simulator saves on bullets and gives an exhaustive report to the shooter to improve and enhance his skills.
